Plan an amazing trip to Antigua and Barbuda
Antigua and Barbuda is a Caribbean country composed of two principle islands - Antigua, the largest and Barbuda. It is located about 30 miles north of Guadeloupe. A Royal Navy base for many years, the influence of the British is notable. The shipyards built by the Royal Navy and the associated archaeological sites have been listed by UNESCO. The capital, St John’s, has a historic cathedral and the national museum, but Antigua and Barbuda is known above all for its white sand and turquoise water beaches, among the most beautiful in the Caribbean. The tropical climate which varies little throughout the year allows you to visit at any time. If you love water sports, you’re in for a treat: surfing, windsurfing, kayaking… And if it’s nature you want, there is a tropical forest where you can walk and discover the island’s flora and fauna.
