Diving in Mayotte

A diving cruise in Mayotte is a journey into the unknown! Its 157 km long coral reef shelters many endemic species, such as the dugong, the hawksbill sea turtle and the green sea turtle. In July, whales come here to give birth, so you might have the chance to see new-born calves. There are many remarkable diving spots such as the S-pass and the Bandrele pass. You will also discover the extremely rare double coral reef that stretches over about 20 km. These passes allow you to observe both the macrofauna, with exotic fish, clown fish, butterflyfish and surgeonfish, and the megafauna, with hammerhead sharks, Napoleon fish and wahoos. Dolphins will be your daily diving companions.
