When to go to Mallorca?
Although the months of July and August are beautiful they are also very busy. March is ideal for hiking because it is mild, there is little rain and the almond trees are blossoming across the island. However, temperatures are still cool, especially in the mountainous areas. As a general rule, the temperature varies between the seaside and the cooler villages at higher altitudes. This may be an opportunity to cool off in the summer, but take a light jacket for the evenings. Don’t forget your sun protection, a hat, drink water regularly and avoid the sun between 12:00pm and 4:00pm if you are spending time on the beach.
To make the most of the beaches on Majorca , we recommend September, as it is still warm and the sea is 25°C (warmer than in June). In addition, the price of flights and rentals drops as the crowds disperse.
